I’ll be reading The Hobbit in: English
My Tolkien origin story: In middle school, my friends urged me to watch the Lord of the Rings movies. I am not a very big reader, so they wanted me to watch the movies instead. I watched the movies and fell in love with them. Then the hobbit movies came out and that really sparked my love for Tolkien. At that point I was running a Walking Dead blog, and I converted it to a Tolkien blog. People weren’t too happy I guess. Lol. I deleted that tumblr and then started this rp blog and I felt like I needed more background. I am currently reading the Lord of the Rings books and the Silmarillion.
My book history: I am halfway through the Fellowship and halfway through the Silmarillion.
My film history: I own all six films and I watch them constantly. I also own the whole fellowship soundtrack and the whole return of the King soundtrack. Then bits and pieces of the Two Towers and the hobbit film soundtracks.
My favorite characters: as you can tell, I absolutely adore Fili. But I also love Bilbo, Bofur, Dori, Elrond, Haldir, Aragorn, Merry, Pippin, Manwë, Ulmo, Thranduil, Finrod, Radaghast… So many people!! I love everybody
My favorite quote: “What about second breakfast? Elevensies? Dinner? Supper?”
My hopes for the read-along: That I don’t forget about reading, that I make good friends and have a great time!

What was the best adventure you’ve ever been on? Me and my friend took a lovely trip to Woodstock. We took a hike, visited a Buddhist monastery, and walked around the small, hippy town. It was very lovely.
