“Bilbo,” Fili whispered, gently. “I will only be in the other room.” 

But Fili heard the urgency in the halfling’s voice, which took the dwarrow by surprise. Usually Bilbo Baggins was a very independent hobbit and would never ask for such a thing. But, now he was asking the not to leave. Fili finally nodded and said, “I won’t leave you.”
