Thought after that post I just made, I should post a picture of my sister.
This is Rosie (Her full name is Rosemary) She is 18 years old and, therefore, nearly 2 years older than I am.
When she was only a few months old she was diagnosed with a childhood cancer called Neuroblastoma and a condition called cerebral palsy.
When my mother was pregnant with me, Rosie was very excited to be a big sister. My mother and father promised Rosie to name me after her. Thus, my name being Mary. :)
On December 7th 1998, Rosie went into critical surgery as my Mom went to get her C-Section. By the time, Rosie was out of Surgery and awake, I was born. That is when we became best friend. We were always together.
Rosie could never say my name quite right, she always called me ReeRee. That’s my preferred nickname because it holds so much love and happiness for me.
Make-a-Wish sent us to Disney World where Rosie met her all time disney character —Mary Poppins. She was so happy…. And then we met Barney. That was the only memory I have of her. I was jealous that Barney was paying attention to her more than me.
Not too long later, she passed away. I guess I never understood what had happened until I was older.
Rosie was a sweet, loving, and happy girl who deserved much happier ending. I love her with all my heart. I wish things could be different sometimes.

But I know she is always looking out for me.
