Fili stared at the pregnancy test.
“Don’t you smile up at me.” Fili said, looking at the face on the test that indicated he was pregnant.
“Looks like it is going to be a long 9 months.”
“Fili, what are you—?” Legolas came into the bathroom, hearing the other’s voice. His eyes locked on the test, and they widened. “Fi…li…?”
Fili looked up at Legolas and gave a nervous smile. “I guess it means…. Well…. There is a green smile.” Fili walked over and pulled another test out from the drawer. “I’ll just do another one. To double check.”
Legolas held his breath as he pulled out another test—why did he even have those things?—and went to sit outside the bathroom, wringing his hands nervously and waiting for the result.
Another green smile. Fili smiled and opened the bathroom door. “Legolas? I think you should see this.”
