An eye- and nosewitness - account of a fan meeting with Richard:

“For  the photos he had his arm around my shoulder and I  had my hand around   his waist!  So slim and firm!   I was dying to  smell him!  I can report  he had on no cologne and smelled very clean.  He had on a t-shirt and  dirty jeans.”

I can’t remember where I read it but another lucky fan who had met him described him as smelling like soap. Maybe he prefers the “fresh out of the shower” smell to wearing a cologne?

My non-RA fan friends who have seen his photos say he always looks like he smells fresh and clean. :-)
